Fun with Photoshop

Until I figure out how to deal with the recent spam hack I have decided to put these two images up.

I have been trying to figure out how to make images appear like cartoons simply in photoshop.

Basically I creat a copy of the background.  The background layer I use the filter>artisitic>cutout then with the second layer I use filter>sketch>photocopy then I set the blending mode to multiply.  The result is something like this.  I played around a little bit more than just those basic instructions.
